About Institute of law

In the era of globalization and competition, there was a vacuum of three years Programme in the taluka olpad, District- Surat. Department of Law was established with the introduction of Three years. LL.B. Programme in year 2023-24. The Legal Education Committee of the Bar Council of India has given approval to impart Three Years LL.B. Programme vide Letter No.: D: 1474 dated 4-10-2023. From academic year 2023-24, the Department has introduced Bachelor of Law LL.B.(3 years).

The department is well-equipped with necessary infrastructure. The students participate in Legal Aid Clinic / Centre and undergoes a vigorous internship of 12 weeks as a part of curriculum component for Three year LL.B. Programme. The curriculums of the course are updated as per the Bar Council of India, University Grant Commission and University norms.

The goal of Institution is to become a hub of excellence in education, research, outreach and community engagement. The aim to prepare our students for national and global competition in the legal profession and justice, addressing the demands of the increasingly interconnected world. Additionally, to strengthening the core principles of knowledge and academic pursuits.

To develop the Vidhyadeep college of diploma engineering “center of excellence” in the field of technical education by:

Mission 1: To attain necessary skills and expertise through the arrangement of Moot Courts, Seminars, Workshops focusing on socio- legal matters.
Mission 2: To cultivate students to embody advocates for justice in achieving the constitutionally mandated objectives of creating a fair society.
Mission 3: To coordinate initiatives for the advancement of students and faculty.
Mission 4: To establish a Legal Service Clinic, both on and off-campus, within civil society to address unmet socio-legal needs.

Free Legal Aid Cell

The Free Legal Aid Centre at Vidhyadeep Law College is a commendable initiative aimed at providing accessible legal assistance to the underprivileged sections of society. Inaugurated by Justice M.I. Pathan, the centre serves as a practical learning hub where students engage with real-life cases, enhancing their understanding of legal intricacies and social responsibility. Legal suggestions and guidance are offered under the mentorship of experts like Senior Adv. Ilyas Patel, and Adv.Dr.Batul Hammid ensuring professional advice and support. This platform not only empowers the community but also equips students with invaluable experience and a sense of justice.

E Library

The E-Library and Physical Library at Vidhyadeep Law College are integral resources for legal education. The E-Library, equipped with Lexis Nexis software, allows students to access a vast database of case laws, including judgments from High Courts, the Supreme Court, and international courts, fostering advanced legal research and understanding. Complementing this, the Physical Library offers an extensive collection of reference books authored by renowned legal experts, providing students with a strong theoretical foundation. Together, these facilities ensure a comprehensive and modern learning environment for aspiring legal professionals.

To enhance the legal education of students, Vidhyadeep Law College organizes interactive sessions with judges and highly qualified faculty members.
