About Institute of law

In the era of globalization and competition, there was a vacuum of three years Programme in the taluka olpad, District- Surat. Department of Law was established with the introduction of Three years. LL.B. Programme in year 2023-24. The Legal Education Committee of the Bar Council of India has given approval to impart Three Years LL.B. Programme vide Letter No.: D: 1474 dated 4-10-2023. From academic year 2023-24, the Department has introduced Bachelor of Law LL.B.(3 years).

The department is well-equipped with necessary infrastructure. The students participate in Legal Aid Clinic / Centre and undergoes a vigorous internship of 12 weeks as a part of curriculum component for Three year LL.B. Programme. The curriculums of the course are updated as per the Bar Council of India, University Grant Commission and University norms.

To develop the Vidhyadeep college of diploma engineering “center of excellence” in the field of technical education by:

  • Mission 1: To attain necessary skills and expertise through the arrangement of Moot Courts, Seminars, Workshops focusing on socio- legal matters.
  • Mission 2: To cultivate students to embody advocates for justice in achieving the constitutionally mandated objectives of creating a fair society.
  • Mission 3: To coordinate initiatives for the advancement of students and faculty.
  • Mission 4: To establish a Legal Service Clinic, both on and off-campus, within civil society to address unmet socio-legal needs.
